Policy Manager, Financial Health Network
Dan Murphy is a Policy Manager at the Financial Health Network, where he leads the organization's work on consumer data rights. Prior to joining the Financial Health Network, he worked on a wide range of fintech policy issues at the Milken Institute Center for Financial Markets, where he wrote white papers, articles, and the weekly Fintech in Focus newsletter. He has also worked on Capitol Hill as a Fellow at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, and at the World Bank as a consultant. He holds a Bachelors in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Masters in Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance, where he wrote a thesis on fintech's potential to mitigate the SME finance gap in Europe. He is based in the Financial Health Network's office in Washington, DC.
