Programme Director, Open Banking
Mr. Colley was appointed as Programme Director for the Open Banking Implementation Entity (OBIE) in August 2017.
In his role as Programme Director, he has responsibility for delivering the implementation of open banking in the UK, which includes the development and delivery of the common technical standards and central infrastructure underpinning the Competition and Market Authority’s (CMA) open banking initiative.
Mr Colley is recognised in the industry as an experienced Transformation Director, having led £multi-million business and technical change programmes across the globe. He is Managing Director of Pentice Associates Ltd, which he founded in June 2006, and where he has advised and directed high profile programmes in the retail banking sector for various clients.
He has worked in the financial services sector for over 30 years, including senior roles at both Royal Bank of Scotland and NatWest. He holds a MSc in Business Management Systems from the University of Warwick.
